The Posole is amazing. The Chili verde burrito and fajita quesadilla are also some of the best most authentic I have ever had. Would definitely come back.

Loved the salsa bar. Friendly service and great tacos. The day I visited they had a special of $1.50 tacos, what else could I have asked for
I live in San Francisco and drive up the West Coast all the time. Taqueria Jalisciense is a gem. I truly cannot emphasize how great the burritos are (had shredded chicken regular, adobada supreme, and shrimp regular). Also got carnitas tacos + shrimp tacos + chips and guacamole. All of these items HIT LIKE CRAZY. DUDE THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!!!!!!! The shredded chicken burrito could compete with the taquerias I've eaten at in SF/LA/SD, no joke. The value is insane. Also the guy helping us out was SO KIND. Food took a bit of time to get to us, but that's probably what you should expect when they make the food after you order it (as opposed to giving you stuff they made a while ago). Keep in mind if you want to tip, you need to let them know in advance. I went back up and asked them to charge me for something explicitly so I could tip (this only affects card transactions as they have a tip jar for cash).
OK. I'm a firm beliver in what I like to call the 'No thank you' bite when it comes to trying things you've never had before. Take a bite, if you don't like it, than say 'no thank you'. It's polite to the person who made it and uou never know until you try, right? (Please note, do not bite random people and say no thank you, they don't like it and it usually ends up with assault charges being pressed). So we went to this Mexican restaurant down the street from us last night. I got their papas fritas with carne asada, I've had them before, I know they're good. I do love me some Lengua tacos, and asked if they had any. They told me no, but they had Cabeza and Tripa. I've never had that before. Lengua was the 'craziest' of meat that I've ever had, (sans the tacos I had in Tijuana when I was like 12, still not sure what that was, tasty though!) So I asked if I could get a sample of each. Y'all, I've been sleeping on this! I went back today and ordered 2 tacos of each and I swear with every bite, my eyes rolled so far back in my head I'm surprised they didn't snap off of their eye holder thingies that keep them in your face. Like I don't ever remember having a foodgasm this good in forever. Like I have no problems going back at all and getting more for dinner. And tomorrow for lunch, and dinner...... So if you think you won't like something, give it a little try because you never know.
Can't beat the quality, taste or price here! Up with some of the best taco joints in L.A. Loved their meats, think I tried them all but my favorites were Asada and Lengua. Great salsas and a strawberry horchata to wash it all down.
I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and I can confidently say that it deserves a solid 5-star rating! From start to finish, my experience was exceptional. The restaurant's vibrant and welcoming atmosphere immediately put me in the mood for some delicious tacos. The menu offered an extensive variety of mouthwatering options, and cerveza!
Flavorful adobada and tender carne asada. All salsas are pretty good. My favorite was the red one, and it was spicy. They have a variety of drinks available. I paired my tacos with a classic Mexican glass bottle coke. Efficient service and friendly staff. Clean and spacious area. Relaxed environment. Although limited, they have clean bathrooms. Located across the street from Grover Electric & Plumbing Supply. Plenty of parking available.
Food and customer service were phenomenal!!! I've been there twice now, both times on a Saturday, and I got to say that nothing beats their $1 tacos. Choice between carne asada or adobada. Both times I got beyond full at $15 or less per person (I went there with my wife on both occasions). I've recommended this place to everyone that I've talked to. This new location from where they used to be makes it so much more convenient to find and dine. Aside from the $1 tacos they have a wide variety of other delicious meals, all extremely reasonably priced as well. So why are you still reading this? Go get some amazing authentic Mexican food already!!!
